Assistant Manager, Supplier Quality Management
POSITION SUMMARY
The main purpose of this job is to ensure compliance with Nestle quality and food safety management systems for contract manufacturing product portfolio.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
People and know-how
* Conduct trainings, promote quality mindset at Co-Man sites, and contribute to competence development of the team on Quality aspects
Overall Responsibility
* Plan and execute regular Quality and Food Safety audits according to NFSMS for the contract manufacturing sites
* Support development of HACCP studies with Co-Man and conduct HACCP validation as well as Food defense plan
* Develop QMS for Nestle products in accordance with model category QMS and ensure implementation of proper quality controls at Co-Man sites
* Coordinate Product release and ensure regular compliance monitoring
* Coordinate RM/PM Compliance monitoring
* Establish and implement Pathogen monitoring plans as per Nestle standards and in coordination with Co-Man
* Implement Surveillance monitoring for chemical contaminants
* Ensure Allergen compliance
* GMO & Halal compliance
* Establish and validate Traceability systems and Mock recall
* Ensure Laboratory Compliance and P-test implementation
* Monitor Product regulatory compliance
* Ensure Sensory evaluation and compliance
* Implement Foreign body prevention initiatives
* Deploy Nestle QA category specific standards
* Manage product non-conformity and complaints handling
* Implement Management of Change with Co-Man
* Coordinate quality input for the Make or Buy analysis
ARE YOU A FIT?
* University graduate (preferred food science related, Ex. Agriculture, Food Technology, etc...)
• Demonstrated competence in their specific field to support business requirements
* • Team member of a factory: Quality, Production Support, Application Group / Team member in the quality department of the Market, PTC/R&D, Centre, NRC, NQACs
Business Experience
* Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programs
* Participating in project teams
* Leading part of a change effort
* Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects with more senior staff members
* Establishing networks of peers in markets or factories
