What you can expect
As a Senior Manager Portfolio Management Generics & Specialty Generics (f/m/d) in the Global Portfolio Management Team, you will be part of an international team to evaluate new opportunities in the generics & specialty generics segment, drive cross-functional and cross-geographical projects, and build a robust generics & specialty generics pipeline.
1. You identify and drive product opportunities globally, leading evaluations across stakeholders
2. You prepare and present business cases for new product developments to top management
3. You provide in-depth analysis on indications, trends, challenges, opportunities, and unmet medical needs
4. You act as the key contact for allocated products, including future trends and gap analysis
5. You evaluate opportunities for in-licensing, co-development, and your own development for new projects
6. You support affiliates from product idea to launch
7. You build strong relationships with corporate departments
8. You conduct strategic risk assessments and prioritize pipeline products
9. You mentor and develop junior team members, fostering continuous learning
10. You lead efforts to gather and analyze market intelligence
11. You drive innovation initiatives within the team
12. You establish and monitor KPIs to track portfolio success
Who are we looking for
13. You have a degree in life sciences, ideally as a medical doctor or pharmacist
14. You possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in product and/or portfolio management within the pharmaceutical industry; experience in product lifecycle management and/or innovation management is a plus
15. You have a deep understanding of the generic industry, including market trends and key players
16. You possess knowledge of pharmaceutical market mechanisms in Europe, and ideally also in MENA, APAC, and Eurasia
17. You have proven experience in evaluating and launching generics and specialty generics, as well as improved generics
18. You have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
19. You demonstrate strong intercultural communication & networking, lateral leadership & teamwork
