As our Project Pursuit Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind developing winning technical and commercial proposals for Emerson’s Control Systems & Software portfolio in the Life Sciences industry. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Life Sciences Pursuit Managers, Centers of Excellence, and Operations teams to shape high‑quality, competitive, and customer‑centric proposals that open the door to new business opportunities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, Project Pursuit Managers, and Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment on expectations and successful proposal delivery
2. Gather, analyze, and translate stakeholder requirements into tailored, value‑driven solutions while acting as a trusted advisor through remote and on‑site engagement
3. Lead and oversee the entire proposal process, ensuring high quality, accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness of all technical and commercial submissions
4. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Project Pursuit, Center of Excellence, Operations) to develop innovative and cost‑effective proposal concepts
5. Serve as Solution Architect, applying technical expertise to shape concept designs that meet customer needs and Emerson standards
6. Coordinate proposal contributors, allocate tasks, monitor progress, drive efficiency through best‑practice methodologies, and support DoA processes including pricing strategies and benchmarks
7. Act as a Subject Matter Expert, staying current on industry trends and proactively sharing knowledge to strengthen team capabilities and Life Sciences expertise across DACH

For This Role, You Will Need:
8. Technical or engineering degree
9. Fluent German & English language skills
10. + years of experience in process automation, Life Sciences/Chemicals, or project engineering/management
11. Solid understanding of process automation, DCS, MES, IT infrastructure, networks, and Life Sciences software (RTS / PKM / Digital Twin)
12. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple proposals in parallel
13. Good knowledge of the Life Sciences industry
