M3B GmbH combines the event and marketing expertise of the brands MESSE BREMEN, CONGRESS BREMEN, ÖVB-Arena, GROSSMARKT BREMEN, and Bremer Ratskeller – Weinhandel seit 1405. Every year, it hosts a large number of its own and guest events, enlivens the city's neighborhoods with special and weekly markets, operates the fresh produce center in Überseestadt, invites visitors to take guided tours of the historic wine cellar of Bremen City Hall, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and offers its customers the world's largest selection of selected German wines far beyond the city limits.
M3B is looking to fill a position in its IT team as soon as possible as part of a succession plan.
System Administrator (f/m/d) IT Support
In this position, you will perform tasks to ensure the functionality of the IT infrastructure, IT systems, and IT applications. You will report to the team leader.
Your challenge:
* Organization and continuous development of our IT help desk
* First-level support for our IT applications and support for users in their day-to-day business
* Administration and monitoring of the internal network and system infrastructure to ensure a stable and high-performance IT landscape
* Collaborating in the planning and implementation of IT projects and the further development of the IT architecture
* Supporting the IT infrastructure at internal events (including preparation and follow-up)
* Participating in the introduction and integration of new hardware and software solutions and their ongoing support
What you bring to the table:
* Successfully completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist in system integration), or a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
* Initial relevant professional experience in the administration of IT systems and networks
* Experience in network management and user support
* Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work with a high sense of responsibility
* Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a confident and friendly manner
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
* Confident use of current IT hardware and software is required.
