This Position is initially for two years.Candidates:A qualified educator with strong experience in digital learning and classroom practice.Confidence working with teachers across disciplines and age ranges.A clear understanding of digital citizenship, data protection, and emerging AI tools in education.The ability to explain technology in simple, practical ways.A collaborative mindset and a passion for professional learning.The Role:ISS is seeking an experienced Digital Learning Coach with a strong background in educational technology and curriculum design to support teachers and students in meaningful, responsible, and innovative uses of digital technology.This role is part of a Digital Learning Coaching team, with two Digital Learning Coaches working collaboratively across both ISS campuses to support learning from EY3-12. The position is based at our Degerloch Campus.The Digital Learning Coach works closely with the Director of IT and is a member of the Office of IT and Digital Learning, alongside technical specialists, platform specialists, and office management staff. While line‑managed by the Director of IT, the focus of the role is firmly on teaching, learning, and curriculum impact rather than technical operations.The role combines hands‑on classroom coaching with the strategic development of digital and AI‑related learning, aligned with the European Digital Competence Framework (DigComp) and current EU and German AI and data protection legislation. Working as part of a coaching team and a wider IT Office ensures that pedagogical goals, technical systems, and compliance requirements are aligned and sustainable.ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning SupportCoach and support teachers in using digital tools confidently and purposefully to enhance student learning and agency.Support students in developing digital literacy, digital citizenship, and age‑appropriate AI skills.Collaborate with teachers to embed digital learning, STEAM, and real‑world contexts across subjects and grade levels.
