About the role

As our new Business Development Representative for the German market, you would be boosting ClauseBase’s presence in Germany. Your work would lie at the intersection of both marketing and sales.

On the sales front:

* Expect responsibility to build and qualify a strong lead pipeline, nurture opportunities, and ensure smooth handovers for successful customer engagement.
* Represent ClauseBase at trade shows and conferences.
* Work with your colleagues in the Customer Success team to strengthen relationships with strategic customers by understanding their goals, delivering ongoing value, and driving long-term growth.

On the marketing front:

* Plan and execute engaging local, in-person events that attract the right audience and support sales and marketing goals.
* Ensure that ClauseBase’s sponsorship of trade shows and conferences achieves return on investment by helping to set up and host side events and meetings with prospective buyers.
* Capture and share authentic customer stories to build credibility and showcase how ClauseBase is helping our clients enter a new era of legal drafting.

What we’re looking for:

* 2+ Year of experience in Sales
* Prior experience in the legal sector
* Hands-on experience with sales tools such as Lemlist and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
* Great writing skills – both in German and in English. Bonus points if you speak Dutch.
* Ability to work independently and in a remote-first team.
