Director, Business Development - Growing Start-Up CRO - Fully Remote across DACH Region
Planet Pharma is currently working with a growing start-up clinical research organisation (CRO) that is experiencing a significant period of growth. Due to high demand from clients, they are expanding their Business Development team.
Role Overview
As the Director, Business Development, you will oversee the EU region, selling the company's clinical research services, including but not limited to quality, regulatory, and post-marketing services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and executing strategic business development initiatives to drive growth and market expansion.
2. Identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new partnership, client, and revenue opportunities.
3. Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
4. Collaborating with marketing, product, finance, and executive teams to align on business objectives.
5. Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
Candidate Profile
Our client seeks an experienced business development professional with extensive experience selling clinical research services to the MedTech and/or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate:
* Speaks German at a native level.
* Is willing to travel for business meetings and conferences across Europe and potentially the US.
* Is proactive in working collaboratively to achieve business growth and development.
