A Snapshot of Your Day As a Sales & Bid Manager (f/m/d) in the Service Revamp Business, your day involves discerning and addressing technical concerns, developing technical solutions, and accurately estimating costs for design implementation. You generate detailed technical/commercial sales proposals and, most importantly, effectively communicate all the above to bridge the gap between operations, marketing, sales, contractors, and ultimately our customers. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Prepare technical and commercial bids for compressor trains Service Revamp, Modifications & Upgrades
2. Develop technical and commercial proposals for Service Modifications & Upgrades of compressor trains
3. Provide consultancy services for oil & gas customers (EPCs, end users)
4. Perform front-end technical evaluations, basic calculations, and conduct preliminary design/proposal review meetings to mitigate technical risks on revamp/upgrade opportunities Conduct and lead technical and commercial contract negotiations with customers
5. Support regional entities in service solutions
6. Drive new technical modification and upgrade solutions with R&D
7. Review client data to evaluate existing machinery reliability and concerns
What You Bring
8. A mechanical engineering degree or equivalent and experience in Compressor Technology
9. Strong communication and interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
10. Possess and demonstrate a high degree of tact and professionalism along with an appropriate level of tenacity
11. Work collaboratively and individually with the same enthusiasm and intensity
12. Travel (estimated 10-20%) in order to provide support technically to sales and client to help close potential opportunities Ability to listen to customer needs, develop complex solutions and sell the benefits to the client
13. Proficient English language skills and very good skills in German
