The Quality Management division initiates and ensures the quality of our medical devices at the highest technological level. In this context, the chemical characterization of raw materials and final products plays a central role in reliably meeting regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities
1. Conduct studies on extractables and leachables from medical devices, including evaluation, interpretation, and documentation of results
2. Identify and characterize potential extractables and leachables using internal and external databases
3. Create, maintain, and further develop specialized databases to support analytical assessments
4. Develop and validate analytical methods tailored to regulatory requirements and project-specific questions
Your Profile
5. Completed university degree in polymer chemistry, chemistry, or a related scientific field
6. Experience in instrumental analytics, particularly in the use of GC and LC-MS
7. Expertise in non-target analysis using high-resolution mass spectrometry to identify unknown substances in the context of extractables and leachables (E&L) in medical devices, including interpretation of complex mass spectra
8. Careful, structured, and independent working style
9. Excellent written and spoken German and/or English skills
