Job Responsibilities :
* Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, COBIT, DCAM) and best practices in data management.
* The Senior Data Governance Consultant will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering comprehensive data strategy programs focused on data observability, data quality, and data cataloging journeys.
* Familiarity with data catalog tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Informatica) and data observability platforms (e.g., Monte Carlo, DataOps, Great Expectations, Acceldata).
* Proficiency in data quality tools and techniques, including monitoring and improving data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
* Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data security standards.
* Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Required Skills :
* 7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, and consulting with a focus on data quality, data observability, and metadata management with overall 12+ years of experience.
* Proven track record of leading and managing data governance programs, including the implementation of data catalogs and observability tools.
* Strong background in conducting data maturity assessments and driving data governance transformations in large, complex organizations.
* Experience in building and executing data literacy programs, including the development of training materials and workshops.
* Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, CIPP, DCAM).
* Experience in cloud data platforms and analytics environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
