The Role
The Head of Marketing Europe is expected to implement and deliver the Marketing & Communications strategy for Europe.
While the general strategy is largely in line with the global strategy, the role holder is expected to develop individualised approaches based on the requirements of the Region’s target markets.
The role requires broad experience in all fields of marketing, preferably within the automotive industry, including brand building of new brands.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Adapt the global marketing strategy to meet the needs of European markets for the product and the brand Grenadier, consistent with brand values.
* Conceive, plan, and execute regional and local events with the help of third parties as required, aligning with the Grenadier brand strategy and messages.
* Collaborate with the central marketing and events teams to maximize the regional impact and sales value of global marketing and event assets, considering adaptations and local specifics.
* Maintain a close working relationship with the European Head of Sales, Regional Sales, and Aftersales Managers.
* Work closely with the Sales Operations Manager and Regional Sales Managers to optimize the INEOS sales funnel.
* Manage the quality of external communication materials.
Qualifications:
* Minimum education to first degree level (BA or equivalent); Master’s degree preferred.
* Experience in leadership with a solid management style, prioritization, and goal-setting skills.
* Self-motivated with influencing skills.
* Experience in Marketing Communications and Media within a B2C environment, with up-to-date knowledge of latest trends and best practices.
* Creative with the ability to think outside the box.
* Articulate with strong presentation skills.
* Experience coordinating agencies to successfully complete multiple projects.
* Automotive experience is highly desirable, but broader sector experience is also valued.
* Proven involvement in national/international branding activities.
* Experience managing substantial budgets.
* Awareness of or experience with markets with diverse cultural and religious demographics.
