We are working with a top-tier Pan-European Private Equity Fund who are looking to add individuals at the Associate level in to their Investment team in Frankfurt.
As an Associate, you will also take on responsibility for guiding and mentoring more junior analysts, while coordinating workflows across internal and external stakeholders.
* Supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, including preparing analysis and investment materials
* Building and reviewing financial models (incl. LBOs) and conducting valuation and business analysis
* Coordinating due diligence processes and managing work streams with external advisors during live deals
* Preparing investment committee materials, internal reports, and portfolio monitoring documentation
* Analysing financials, performing comparable analysis, and generating insights on target companies and sectors
* Working closely with senior team members and internal stakeholders (e.g. tax, ESG, legal) to support transactions
* Producing value-add analysis on portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic recommendations
* Conducting market and sector research to inform investment strategy
Who we are looking for
* At least 2 years’ experience in elite investment banking, private equity or top-tier Management Consultancy with a maximum of five years experience
* Strong academic background in a relevant discipline
* Advanced financial modelling skills, including LBO experience
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend your work
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
