The Role
We’re hiring an experienced German speaking Piping Designer for a 6-month freelance contract at a major chemical site in Holzminden. You’ll support piping layout, design updates, and construction coordination for brownfield projects.
Key Tasks
Create and modify piping layouts and isometrics
Conduct site surveys and field measurements
Coordinate with engineers and construction teams
Prepare MTOs and ensure design complies with DIN/ISO standards
Support construction with technical drawings and documentation
Requirements
~5+ years of piping design experience in chemical or process industry
~ Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar software
~ Strong knowledge of piping standards (DIN/EN/ISO)
~ Fluent in German (required); English a plus
~ Available full-time on-site, as a freelancer
