ABOUT THIS POSITION
In this role, you’ll support our Finance team as a key contributor to our accounting processes. The position is hybrid, with regular collaboration on-site in Darmstadt while offering flexibility to work part of the week remotely. You’ll work closely with multiple teams and take ownership in a dynamic, growing environment.
YOUR TASKS
* Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, posting, and payment runs.
* Prepare, process, and monitor incoming and outgoing invoices in close coordination with our tax advisor.
* Handle office management tasks.
* Maintain accurate general ledger records and support monthly and annual closing procedures (HGB).
* Oversee contract management, including documentation, tracking of renewal dates, and compliance with internal policies.
* Administer inventory management (hardware, equipment, assets), including regular reconciliation and documentation.
* Support cost center accounting, internal approval workflows, and process improvements.
* Coordinate supplier management, including onboarding, master data maintenance, and monitoring of SLAs and pricing.
* Collaborate closely with Operations, GTM, Engineering, and Leadership to ensure smooth financial operations.
YOUR PROFILE
* Multiple years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a B2B software / SaaS company.
* Proficient in DATEV, MS Office, and digital finance tools.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
* Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
* Business fluency in German and solid understanding in English.
HELPFUL ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with Spendesk, Salesforce or similar tools.
* Understanding of SaaS-specific revenue topics (e.g., Revenue Recognition).
* Exposure to process automation or optimization in finance.
