Job Description:
The Luxembourg National Service is a major player in the country's healthcare sector, serving patients, doctors and hospitals. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, the service is a public institution organized around six medical departments.
Responsibilities include medical validation and signing of patient diagnostic reports, participating in the analysis and interpretation of genomic data for rare genetic disorders and/or cancer and writing comprehensive molecular diagnostic reports.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, including the ability to communicate well within a team with diverse backgrounds and with other doctors in registered medical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Medical validation and signing of patient diagnostic reports
2. Participating in the analysis and interpretation of genomic data for rare genetic disorders and/or cancer
3. Writing comprehensive molecular diagnostic reports
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in molecular diagnostics is required; specific knowledge of NIPT testing and next generation sequencing (large gene panels, exomes, genomes) and their interpretation is an advantage;
