About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take over the technical responsibility for industrial plant projects in the area of air pollution control. This role focuses on system integration, technical execution and coordination of technical interfaces between internal teams, suppliers and customers. The position requires a solid background in mechanical engineering or process technology combined with practical project engineering experience in the field of plant or device design. This is not just a project management role, but a technically driven engineering position.

The Project Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining timely and accurate engineering results. You will support and manage assigned projects while working closely with all business departments. You will be responsible for the coordination of the international 3D drawing team to ensure the correctness of technical drawings and compliance with specifications, and you will also be responsible for the system integration of air pollution control systems.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Analyses project specifications and performance requirements to determine the appropriate equipment design.
• Provides technical and technical support to the project management team on projects using original equipment.
• Provides technical support to the aftermarket team when needed.
• Provides technical information on manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and processes
• Advantages and limitations.
• Liaise with other personnel to clarify or solve problems and develop appropriate product designs.
• Creates and reviews technical data sheets (regular and ISF formats).
• Checks the general arrangement and detailed drawings.
• Directs or performs the creation of product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Provides analytical calculations to ensure equipment complies with applicable codes and regulations.
• Evaluates and approves structural designs as needed.
• Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
• Comply with local and state regulations and represent the business unit in industry and commerce
• associations and the community.
• Evaluates and approves structural designs as needed.

• Participates in new products or product development strategies.
• Drives to customer or supplier sites as needed to attend meetings or inspections.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge about new trends in products and processes.
• Participates in internal meetings as needed.
• Performs project-specific engineering services for assigned projects, including the creation of all equipment
• Specifications, preparation of drawings and review of bills of materials.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and achieving results.
• Interact directly with vendors, customers, consulting engineers, and project engineering representatives problems.
• Performs other tasks of a similar type and level as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical or Process Engineering with a strong focus on plant and mechanical engineering).
• 8+ years of engineering experience (ideally 8–15 years of relevant experience in plant engineering / EPC / industry
• equipment).
• Experience in dealing with marketing, sales, manufacturing and suppliers to solve product problems and
• Translation of customer requirements into product specifications.
• Demonstrate ability to demonstrate creativity and analytical engineering skills in applying technologies to new projects.
• Experienced in dealing with multidisciplinary and intercultural teams.
• Experience with European packaging supplies to meet European standards and standards (PED, Machinery Directive and CE marking)
• etc.).
• Ability to overcome obstacles, achieve goals, and adapt to a changing environment.
• Experience with MS Office, Excel and other normal business software.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (e.g. Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD 3D, Solid Edge, or HICAD)

This role is not suitable for:

• Pure project managers without sound technical engineering
• Candidates focused on quality assurance, quality control, or inspection activities
• Applicants without practical experience in plant or mechanical engineering
