Reporting to the site Managing Director Director, you will join the Sales department and contribute to the business development within the CLAYENS Group.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic clients in the automotive and other sectors, while actively contributing to the development of new high-potential markets : Aerospace, Industrial, Electrical and Healthcare.
More specifically, your daily responsibilities will include :
Management and development of an existing client portfolio:
* Building long-term, trust-based relationships with your clients to achieve the development goals set by management.
* Contributing to the budget planning per client within your scope and monitoring its execution.
* Managing your assigned client accounts, including satisfaction tracking, price updates, organizing business reviews, identifying new development opportunities, etc.
Prospecting :
* Identifying new opportunities through targeted prospecting campaigns, participation in trade shows/conferences, and by expanding your existing client portfolio.
* Once projects are identified, and with the support of internal teams, you will propose innovative technical and commercial solutions aligned with client needs, with a constant focus on competitiveness, social and environmental performance, innovation, and industrial excellence. You will present and defend these commercial offers to clients.
* You will oversee the progress of new business opportunities with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the prospecting, development, and serial production phases: satisfaction, deadlines, quality, competitiveness, communication...
Analysis and Reporting :
* Applying the Group/Division strategy and implementing the commercial policy (markets, products, pricing...).
* Monitoring and analyzing technical developments and new opportunities in target markets.
* Assessing the economic and technical relevance of our offers, particularly in comparison to competitors.
Your profile :
With a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business School, or equivalent, you have at least 5 to 10 years of significant experience in a similar role within the industry, ideally with a project or commercial focus in the plastics sector.
Knowledge of plastic injection molding is essential to understand the technical aspects of the products.
Given the international context, business fluency in English is essential.
Your interpersonal skills, experience in managing and developing networks, autonomy, energy, and organizational abilities will be key to your success.
This position requires frequent national and international travel (+- 50%).
