We’re looking for a motivated Senior Robotics Software Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong background in mobile robotics and embedded software development to join our team in building exciting robotics systems. Tasks
* Developing ROS 2 applications for control and navigation
* Porting Jetson Linux to custom hardware
* Sensor integration and ROS 2 driver development
* Refining and optimizing control algorithms for our unmanned vessels
* Testing and evaluating software on our robotic test platforms
* Troubleshooting issues during lab and field tests
* Developing embedded C software
Requirements
* Over 3 years of hands-on experience in robotics software development
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields
* Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
* Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2
* Experience with Embedded Linux and Device Driver development
* Deep understanding of robotic systems architecture, including sensors, actuators, embedded computing platforms, and real-time system constraints
* Experience with Nvidia Jetson Hardware and JetPack is advantageous
* Experience with Micro-ROS is advantageous
* Ability to work proactively and independently, with a structured approach
* Good documentation and communication skills in English
* A strong portfolio of personal projects is highly regarded
