YOUR TASKS:
1. Support Nordex service in fleet assessments for pitch & yaw components
2. Analysis of the operation performance of the pitch & yaw systems
3. Investigation, development and implementation of potential improvements for the reliability of the pitch & yaw systems in coordination with System Leads and Component Responsible
4. Development of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) in coordination with other Engineering Departments and Service Department
5. Techno-commercial evaluation of improvement measures
6. Managing technical projects related to reliability, quality or costs
7. Support to DFMEA development and of quality assurance
YOUR PROFILE:
8. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree
9. 5+ years in the wind turbine sector, specifically with pitch and yaw systems
10. Knowledge and experience about pitch and yaw systems: bearing, gears, lubrication
11. Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies preferred
12. Good communication skills
13. Comfortable to work in multi-national, multi-cultural teams
14. Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
15. Ability to manage projects and to work as a team with good analytical skills. and the flexibility and dynamism in the execution of tasks
16. Fluent English, ideally skills in German and/or Spanish
