The Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for the Department of Immunobiochemistry at MI3 (Mannheim Institute for Innate Immunoscience / Head: Prof. Dr. Adelheid Cerwenka). Scientist / Postdoctoral-fellow (f/m/d) The focus of our department (headed by Prof. Dr. Adelheid Cerwenka) is research into innate immune cells, their functions and receptors, and their potential applications in immunotherapy. Your tasks: Research project in the field of (innate) immunology Support of projects of the Department of Immunobiochemistry, (knowledge e.g. in bioinformatics would be an advantage) Organization and implementation of courses in biochemistry at the Mannheim Medical Faculty Implementation of seminars for medical students Supervision of biochemical internships for students Your skills: Doctorate e.g. in biochemistry, biology or medicine High degree of motivation, enthusiasm for teaching, very good organizational skills Experience in teaching in the field of biochemistry or related subjects is an advantage Experience in research in biochemistry/immunology would be desirable Excellent German and English language skills Your benefits: A job with a high level of responsibility and a varied range of tasks An open-minded and motivated team Offers to support the compatibility of family and career Support for your personal and professional development through Heidelberg University's internal educational program Salary in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Federal States (TV-L) Pension scheme for the public service (VBL) We stand for equal opportunities.
