We Are Looking For
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for work orders, shipping orders and requisitions, receiving, storing, packaging and distributing aircraft parts and ground support equipment (GSE), while performing packaging, lot receiving and cycle count job functions safely, accurately, and efficiently for all Business Units operating at the Center of Excellence based in Commerce, California.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
1. Inspect and identify aircraft parts and receive them into computer software applications
2. Load/unload inventory onto shipping containers and flatbed trucks
3. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be pulled from inventory
4. Package parts to ship to customers using specific packaging methods to ensure that the parts are fully protected and compliant to customer specifications
5. Maintain inventory controls by documenting part traceability and storing pictures using the company’s network drive and applications
6. Pull parts from specific locations within the warehouse and stage them in areas for preparation of shipments
7. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods
8. Validate and record amounts of materials or items received, distributed or cycle counted via appropriate computer program
9. Weigh, count and inspect items to ensure conformance to established standards
10. Assist in counting, tarping and movement of physical inventory
11. Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
12. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
13. Maintain quality service by following organization standards
14. Other duties as assigned
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
15. A high school diploma
16. 1-2 years' experience
17. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
18. Regular and predictable attendance required
19. Basic Computer
20. Data Entry
21. Effective communication, teamwork, coordination, planning, prioritizing, time management, inventory control, record keeping, equipment maintenance, and reliability
