Responsibilities:
1. Design and calculation of air springs and their components, and their effect in the vehicle, in close collaboration with the design team, application engineers, the customer and suppliers.
2. Continuous comparison of test and simulation results through close
cooperation with test engineers.
3. Consideration of simulation and development results from economic perspectives such as material usage and manufacturability.
4. Consideration and further development of methods, standards and processes.
5. Supporting the integration of digitalization solutions
6. Leading innovation projects
7. Presenting development and calculation results to customers and suppliers and providing consulting services
Qualifications:
8. Engineering degree (Master, Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering or similar)
9. >3 years related work experience preferable (automotive, mass production products)
10. FEM software (primarily Abaqus, secondarily MSC.Marc/Mentat, Moldflow), Python scripting, CAD software (primarily CATIA, secondarily Siemens NX or others)
11. Experience with automation and AI tools
12. Fluent German and English language skills
13. Communicative, solution-oriented, responsible, entrepreneurial attitude
