About the role We are busy establishing a presence in Europe, and are looking for our first Continental European marketing manager to lead the charge. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first marketing professional in the growing European team, with a mission to support our go-to-market operations in our newest markets in the EEA (European Economic Area) - France, Germany, Denmark and Sweden - and to lead the launch and expansion of our products across the region. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally in a global setting: on one side, you will work directly with our European teams to drive regional marketing operations with the GTM, Growth and Sales teams. On the other, you will align with our international Marketing & Product teams to maintain a high level of operational marketing excellence across the European markets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a broad technical acumen or interest (on topics such as commercial insurance, cyber security, technological risks), and is looking for an opportunity to expand their professional expertise within a fast developing innovator in the insurance industry. Core Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns and programs, coordinating with the various marketing functions and the Business Development teams in continental Europe. The central focus of your role will be to: Organize the official launch campaign of individual new country rollouts throughout our new markets Identify industry or business event opportunities in relevant countries, and coordinate with the BD and Product teams to ensure presence and brand exposure. The focus will be on insurance (commercial / cyber insurance), insurtech and cybersecurity. Drive targeted digital communication campaigns to reach key business segments, create product visibility and adapt to local markets. Adapt digital and content marketing programs to the needs of a regional sales team. Create, expand, and accelerate sales opportunities through regional and account-focused marketing execution and managing marketing campaigns that promote our products and/or services, within marketing defined strategy. Enhance and operationalize marketing processes related to the broker’s journey – from acquisition through retention – for Coalition’s products and services. Additionally, you will also work to: Drive marketing enablement across the EEA teams, through the creation, management, and optimization of marketing-related processes and promote the use of project management tools and documentation. Monitor and maintain data quality within marketing systems of record (Salesforce, Marketo, and others), and act as a key point of contact for regional guidance of marketing tools and technology. Collaborate with our Data Science team as they track and analyze regional marketing data points to create and strengthen measures for success. Required skills 5 years of work experience in a marketing operations function is required, with an emphasis on field marketing skills. Proven marketing experience in the insurance industry / with insurance products is required. Solid knowledge and experience with target EU / EEA countries, and familiarity working with international teams across multinational markets. Basic knowledge of EU regulations as they apply to insurance product distribution (and marketing activities) is preferred. Advanced language skills in French and English, both written and spoken, are also required. Strong entrepreneurial spirit, with excellent project management and communication experience A dynamic and creative mindset, driven by the intersection of people, processes, and technology. A University degree is preferred (Bachelor or Master degree). The role must be based in France or Germany but is fully remote: any work location within these 2 (continental) territories is accepted. Nice-to-have skills Experience with Commercial Insurance is preferred, and prior experience in Cyber & Tech insurance, or Financial Lines is a strong asset. Prior experience in digital marketing campaign creation, content creation or data analysis is valued. Prior experience working with Salesforce and Marketo Additional language skills in German, Danish or Swedish are a plus.
