As an SAP Logistics Solution Architect (f/m/d), you will design and develop IT architecture for internal and external clients, serving as a technical expert in solutions design and implementation to meet business needs. Your role involves analyzing functionality and constraints across multiple systems to ensure compatibility and usability in Logistics (Sales, eWM, and TM). You will provide global consulting and governance for Logistics processes within Siemens Energy's ERP ECC6 and S/4 HANA systems, collaborating with solution providers to ensure smooth operations and address change requests. Additionally, you will drive process standardization in the S/4 HANA project and oversee the migration from ECC6.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Collaborate with business representatives to develop innovative process solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Manage global demand, provide process consulting, and offer business support for ERP systems.
* Develop requirements and functional specifications in collaboration with key business partners.
* Complete Logistics configuration to define global standard processes in SAP and develop and manage test cases.
* Lead IT projects for small to medium-sized initiatives and collaborate with other teams (e.g. Basis and Security, Service Desk).
* Oversee IT providers for application maintenance and change requests.
What You Bring
* Master's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Several years of experience in global governance, managing demand, and providing business support for IT-integrated processes in a multinational environment.
* Several years of experience in SAP configuration for Sales & Distribution (SD), Transportation Management (TM), or (extended) Warehouse Management (eWM/WM).
* Strong process knowledge in Logistics and understanding of SD/TM/eWM/WM integration with other SAP modules.
* Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects and experience with external providers for ERP system changes and support.
* Proficiency in English and German, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
