Payroll Expertise Sought
We are looking for a seasoned payroll and HR professional to support our organization in optimizing payroll operations in Luxembourg. This role is part of a broader initiative to streamline internal processes and enhance the efficiency of payroll systems, with occasional coverage for Belgium.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full payroll cycle for Luxembourg-based employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations and providing operational support to both internal teams and external clients. The position requires a hands-on approach, adaptability to new systems, and a strong understanding of Luxembourg payroll legislation.
* Manage end-to-end payroll for Luxembourg-based employees (Employer of Record model)
* Ensure compliance with Luxembourg tax, social security, and employment regulations (CSSF regulations)
* Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports and expense collections
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including mandatory deductions
* Collaborate with product and operations teams to improve payroll tools and workflows
* Respond to complex payroll and HR-related queries from clients and employees
* Provide occasional weekend support when needed
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Luxembourg payroll and HR operations
* Strong knowledge of local legislation and compliance standards
* Fluent in French and English
* Comfortable with digital tools and able to quickly adapt to new systems
* Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
