As a Finance Manager at BSM, you will be responsible for driving the financial strategy and operational efficiency of the Ship Management Centre, ensuring alignment with BSM Corporate goals. You will act as a key advisor to senior management, support client relationships, and ensure compliance with international and local financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
* C ompiling of monthly, quarterly and annual Statements of Accounts in accordance with HGB regulations and local requirements
* Preparation of reports and financial analysis for different purposes and target groups
* Review and publish the monthly reporting to clients
* Preparation of quarterly and annual financial budgets and forecasts for the assigned entities
* Effecting payments including performing of cash flow forecasts, liquidity checks and requesting of additional funds
* Contract Management and internal quality assurance
* Customizing of internal processes and structures based on clients’ needs
* Coordination and monitoring of outsourced processes and resources in cooperation with the Financial Director
Qualifications & Experience
* A commercial degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Auditing or equivalent
* Min 2 years’ of local experience in a senior position as Auditor / Accountant / Business consultant, ideally in a maritime environment
* Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems

* Advanced analytical and strategic thinking
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Fluency in German, professional proficiency in English
