For our Technology Center in Brilon/Germany, we are looking for an innovation driver who energetically supports the development of Resibloc dry-type transformer. You can apply your extensive know-how in electrical engineering to develop our transformer products and sustainably contribute to our success. We are looking for a Scientist or Engineer around Electrical Engineering with a focus on medium or high voltage equipment. How you'll make an impact
1. Project participation for products development and technology of dry-type transformers
2. Developing, advancing and optimizing solutions for high voltage-engineering and dielectrics-related topics in a global environment
3. Design and manufacture small prototypes for proof of concepts
4. Perform and supervise application-oriented experiments
5. Precise problem analysis and derivation of suitable solutions
6. Perform scientific and technical assistance
7. Contribute to the transfer and the implementation of project outcomes into the operative Hitachi Energy units
Your background
8. Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering with a focus on Medium or High-Voltage Engineering and Dielectrics
9. A keen sense for current and future technical trends and technologies in the context of transformers
10. Good English and German skills
11. positive 'can-do'- mindset, creativity and self-starter
12. Result-oriented and communicative team player within an interdisciplinary, intercultural team
