Intern Data Scientist (All genders welcome) at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
The Requirements:
For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Your mission:
As an Intern Data Scientist, you will develop and advance Ownership Experience Business Intelligence and Data Integration tools and enhance the department's visibility of data and forecasting ability, through the provision of insights that can provide actions to improve business outcomes.
Main responsibilities:
1. Extraction and integration of data from existing systems, such as ERP / SQL databases / SAP
2. Contributing to the Project of Dealer Warranty Score Cards Preparation for markets
3. Develop reports and analysis for technical support and warranty department
4. Define, Implement, and Maintain KPIs for technical support and warranty department
5. Successful maintenance of KPIs database and KPIs reporting.
6. Process and visualize data using Tableau /Python libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
7. Understanding Kia EU Warranty Data Structure
8. Supporting Kia EU Warranty Team in ongoing data interfacing projects
9. Preparing pre-decision materials for Kia EU Warranty Manager based on Warranty Data Analysis whenever required
10. Supporting Kia EU Warranty Team in development and improvement of new warranty reporting portal to track and manage market KPIs
Your talents:
Education:
11. Bachelor / Master student in Computer science, mathematics, engineering business, science, or relevant field of study.
12. Knowledge in scripting Phyton and working with SQL
13. Knowledge in data analysis packages or databases, ., SQL, SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA and visualization tools,. Tableau, Power BI, etc.
14. Automotive interest will be advantageous
Skills:
15. Knowledge in data analysis (ERP/SAP/SQL/Python/R), Strong analytical skills including statistical know-how
