To support our team, we are looking for a Tech Associate (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough research on markets, industries, and potential investment opportunities to identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies
2. Analyze company financials, business plans, and other key metrics to evaluate investment opportunities
3. Build financial models and perform valuation analyses to assess potential returns and risks.
4. Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment team
5. Support due diligence efforts by conducting industry and competitive analysis, analyzing company financials, and performing background checks on key stakeholders
6. Monitor portfolio companies and provide analytical support to the investment team
7. Support the fundraising process by preparing marketing materials and participating in investor meetings
Your Profile:
8. Very well completed master’s degree in a technical or scientific field or in computer science from a top-tier university
9. A very good understanding of business issues
10. First practical experiences (through internships or others) in venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate development or as a successful start up entrepreneur
11. Intrinsic motivation to understand technical contexts
12. Excellent communication and presentation skills
13. Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to work independently
14. Pro-active and team-oriented attitude and a high level of commitment and willingness to perform
15. Profound knowledge of the common MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
16. Fluent in English and German (both mandatory)
