Main Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven eCommerce Manager to oversee the direct-to-consumer (D2C) eCommerce channels for Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH), and Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial performance across these markets, supported by an eCommerce Associate. The role requires close collaboration with local marketing, retail, and sales teams to ensure channel meeting the budget though out channel differentiated strategies.
This role reports to the EU & UK eCommerce D2C Director with a dotted line into the local commercial leads. The position is based in Germany and requires flexibility for travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and manage annual sales budgets for each market.
* Collaborate with local teams (Marketing, Retail, and Sales) to create a robust annual plan to meet sales targets and ensure channel differentiation.
* Assess and quantify the commercial impact of the activities within the annual plan.
* Work on product forecasts with Marketing team for future activities.
* Ensure the availability of stock to support key commercial activities.
* Provide regular sales performance executive reports to senior stakeholders, analyzing:
* Highs:
Identifying opportunities for growth and working with Marketing to maximize impact.
* Lows:
Investigating root causes and presenting actionable solutions to address issues.
* Enhance consumer journeys, both on-site and to the site, working with digital marketing teams.
* Establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert in eCommerce within the local team, leveraging your experience, knowledge, and leadership to drive strategic initiatives, influence decisions, and focus on consumer needs and market trends.
* Maintain a balance between driving top-line sales and managing bottom-line P&L.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and influence other departments to incorporate initiatives into their strategies.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Retail, Consumer Service, Supply Chain) and regional eCommerce peers.
* Manage on-site content and ensure it aligns with commercial goals.

Experience & Knowledge required
* Minimum of 5 years proven experience with eCommerce commercial responsibility.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
* Degree in Business Administration, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, or related field.
* Experience with BI or other Analytics tools.
* Advanced level Excel skills.
* Programming skills (desirable but not essential).
* Experience briefing development teams.
* Experience briefing off-line teams.
* Hands-on experience in eCommerce back-end, ideally with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC):
catalogue management, content management, merchandising, cross-selling/up-selling, on-site search, A/B testing, personalization, etc.
* German Native.
* English professional level.
* Other languages are desirable but not a requirement.
