1. Job Positioning
Responsible for the full-category direct sourcing and merchandising work in the German market, integrating local German supply chain resources such as brands, factories, and traders, focusing on Germany's advantageous categories, promoting direct supply of goods to JD International, exporting to the Chinese market to serve Chinese consumers, and achieving merchandising and GMV growth targets.
2. Core Job Responsibilities
1. Market Insight and Strategy: Deeply cultivate the German consumer market and industrial belts (such as the Bavarian kitchenware industrial belt and the North Rhine-Westphalia maternal and infant industrial belt), analyze the trends of Germany's advantageous categories, competitor dynamics, and Chinese users' demand for German products, and formulate local direct sourcing and merchandising plans for Germany.
2. Supplier Development: Focus on developing local German brand headquarters, factories, suppliers of chain supermarkets such as DM/Rewe, and German cross-border e-commerce sellers, complete merchandising negotiations through local exhibitions, industry associations, offline visits and other channels, and promote exclusive cooperation with leading brands.
3. Product Selection and Implementation: Focus on Germany's core advantageous categories, select compliant best-selling products that meet Chinese users' needs, promote the implementation, listing and marketing promotion of direct sourcing, control product quality and delivery time, and coordinate with the Chinese team to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.
4. Supplier Management: Establish a hierarchical system for German suppliers, provide operational support and training, review operational data, optimize cooperation models, handle compliance and sudden risks, and maintain a healthy supplier ecosystem.
5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with JD International's Chinese team, synchronize German market information, link up with major promotion activities, and complete core KPIs.
3. Core Resource Requirements
Possess high-quality resources such as local German brands, factories, chain supermarket suppliers, and German cross-border e-commerce sellers, and be familiar with the distribution of German industrial belts.
4. Job Requirements
1. Language: Fluent in English and proficient in German (required, able to independently complete business negotiations and contract signing).
2. Professionalism: Familiar with German industrial standards and product certifications (CE, TÜV), with a rigorous sense of compliance and quality control, and an understanding of the reputation and demand pain points of German products in the Chinese market.
3. Others: Priority will be given to candidates with local German merchandising and purchasing experience, or experience in cooperating with German brands.
