Senior Fund Accountant – PERE (m/f) – CDD
As a Senior Fund Accountant in the Fund Administration & Transfer Agency department, you will be involved in all facets of the calculation and/or review of net asset values for a variety of complex PERE funds. This is a challenging and rewarding role that provides exposure to all elements of a PERE fund’s accounting processes and life cycle.
Please note: This role requires working on client premises.
Your role:
* Accounting/review of accounting for PERE funds holding a diverse portfolio of investments. This includes understanding, maintaining, and taking responsibility for accurate and timely bookkeeping for complex structures.
* Calculation of net asset values on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis, including preparation of reporting packs under relevant GAAP such as LUXGAAP, IFRS, or USGAAP.
* Reporting to and communicating with investment managers and other relevant stakeholders.
* Assisting in the preparation and/or review of financial statements for audit purposes.
* Taking ownership of the full reporting cycle of the funds, from reviewing governing documentation to daily accounting tasks, production of quarterly reporting and NAVs, and annual financial statements.
Your profile:
* You hold an accountancy or business administration qualification.
* You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a fund accounting position (preferably within asset management groups in Luxembourg).
* Experience in accounting for Private Equity/Real Estate funds in Luxembourg is an advantage.
* You have knowledge of various accounting standards and principles (LUXGAAP, and ideally IFRS or USGAAP).
* You are familiar with regulatory frameworks pertaining to Alternative funds such as RAIF, and ideally have knowledge of AIFM regulation.
* You have an excellent command of English; knowledge of a second language is an asset.
* You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Knowledge of Investran is a plus.
