The Head of Network Strategy & Development is an essential role to our success in the European Business Unit of the Husqvarna Forest & Garden (HFG) Division. This role will be the responsible for defining the future state as well as further developing and professionalizing our strong dealer network across Europe, implement strategic initiatives and be a senior business partner to our country teams in their local dealer operations. They will be supported by the central Sales Operations team and have strong collaboration with other channel leads as well as aftermarket and marketing teams functions.
Summary of responsibilities
1. Network Strategy & Planningstrategic: shape the dealer network of 2030 and drive the transformationtactical level: lead annual network planning with our local sales teams
2. Multi-channel Developmentkey contributor to developing developing contractual and commercial frameworks in collaboration with the multi-channel team
3. Dealer Network Governancegovern the dealer network through country and EU-level review cyclesdefine standards for contractual and commercial agreements/terms as well as processes for dealer appointment, onboarding, dismissal, and auditingdefine the customer experience level and drive customers’ satisfaction
4. Dealer Performance & Risk Managementimplement dealer performance management and effective means to monitor the financial health of the dealer networkdevelop the existing dealer segmentation and increase network efficiencybuild and maintain a robust dealer master data stack
5. Dealer Enablementenable the network’s success through upskilling initiatives, incl. trainingmake dealing with Husqvarna more convenient for our dealer network by driving integration of dealer support systems
6. Service Network Strategy & Development develop the network’s ability to generate revenue through serviceswith our after-market team, implement dealer operating standards
7. Leadership lead and mentor team members, build dealer network expertisefunctional leadership and guidance of local sales managers, sales ops teams, and other dealer-facing teams
