Your tasks
* You will develop and implement real-time signal processing algorithms for AESA/MIMO systems, including beamforming, direction of arrival estimation, beam-tracking and interference cancelation.
* You will design and implement software modules for data acquisition, pre-processing, and analysis
* You will optimize algorithms for performance and resource constraints on embedded platforms, thereby collaborating with hardware engineers, waveform developers and system engineering.
* You will participate in the testing and validation of software solutions,
* You will document software designs and implementations and participate in code reviews, to ensure code quality, maintainability and traceability.
* Naturally, a part of you work will also include troubleshooting and debugging of software bugs.
* You will represent Rohde & Schwarz in national and international customer projects, both to industrial partners and public clients.
* You will participate in research collaborations and technology developments, e.g., in cooperation with universities and institutes.
Your qualifications
* You have a completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communication Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
* Strong programming skills in C/C++
* Solid understanding of signal processing principles, including digital filter design, Fourier transforms, and statistical signal processing.
* Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages (HDLs): VHDL or Verilog.
* Experience with FPGA development tools and environments (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
* Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded systems development.
* Experience with software development tools such as Git, debuggers, and profilers.
* You possess strong analytical skills, enabling a goal-oriented and structured approach to problem-solving.
