As our Auction Operations Manager / Specialist, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of GDT's global online auctions – helping to maintain trust in transparent pricing and supporting the efficiency of our platform.
In this part-time position, you'll work closely with various internal teams, contribute your analytical strengths, and continuously help improve operational processes. While the role doesn't include direct customer contact, your impact will be felt across the business. You'll work remotely with two fixed office days per week at our centrally located Berlin office.

Job Requirements

* Degree in Business Administration / Business Management / International Business / Economics / Project Management (min. B.A.) or a comparable qualification
* Minimum 2 years of practical experience in an online or e-commerce environment
* Auction experience is a plus, but not required – we provide thorough onboarding and training
* Confident handling of Excel, reporting tools, Confluence (JIRA)
* Strong analytical thinking, structured and proactive work style
* A team player with clear communication skills; fluent in English, German is a plus
Job Responsibilities
* Auction Management – Ensure smooth process execution, correct product data and system configurations
* Stakeholder Support – Provide technical/process support to internal teams and coordinate with customer service
* Troubleshooting – Monitor auctions and proactively resolve issues before, during, and after execution
* Analysis & Optimization – Prepare reviews and implement improvements to boost efficiency and quality
* Documentation – Maintain and develop SOPs and internal documentation for process clarity
* Quality & Innovation – Identify gaps, contribute to QA, drive scalable process improvements, and test new auction formats
