Description We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer / State-certified technician (m/f/d) with experience in product development. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Develop and Implement PCBs for Test Systems : Design, develop, and deploy automated and manual test systems for power semiconductor devices, including circuit boards, integrated systems, and electronic assemblies. System Integration Testing : Conduct thorough testing of integrated hardware and software systems to ensure they meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Documentation and Standards : Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures, schematics, and BOMs, to support product development and production testing. Hands-on Build and Rework : Participate in hands-on assembly, rework, and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies (CCAs), cabling, and other hardware during test system setup and debugging phases. Component Research and BOM Management : Research components, create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support product and test system development. For This Role, You Will Need: Associate Degree : Preferably in Electronics Technician, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Product Development Experience : Proven experience in supporting product development from concept to release, including product life cycle management. Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronic principles, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings. Test Equipment Proficiency : Hands-on experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, analyzers, and other diagnostic tools. Documentation Skills : Ability to create detailed test plans, procedures, and technical documentation to support product development and testing efforts. Independent Workstyle : Independent work and enthusiasm for creative and analytical thinking Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience with automated testing systems for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups. Familiarity with manufacturing testing processes and the transition of products from development to production. Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements for electronic products.
