Stepping into this role will allow you to shape how quality control is defined and delivered across our entire global manufacturing network. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to ensure that every product we bring to patients meets the highest standards, while also setting the strategic direction for quality control and driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.
Responsibilities

* You’ll be at the heart of our mission to ensure that every product we bring to patients meets the highest standards, while also setting the strategic direction for quality control and driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.
* Lead the global Quality Control function, setting the vision and ensuring that our quality control activities are aligned with Grünenthal’s broader objectives.
* Implement standardized processes and best practices across all our manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency and compliance with international regulatory standards like cGMP and ICH.
* Champion LEAN-lab methodologies—optimizing lab processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and fostering a culture where continuous improvement is second nature.
* Play a key role in our Excellence Network, collaborating with colleagues across functions and geographies to share best practices and drive innovation in quality control.
Qualifications
* Strong academic background in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, ideally with a Ph.D.
* At least seven years of leadership experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry
* Experience with LEAN-lab implementation and a track record of driving cultural change; deep understanding of global regulatory requirements.
* Ability to be a strategic thinker and a decisive leader, able to juggle multiple priorities and manage resources effectively.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
* Experience working with Site Directors to manage personnel, budgets, and equipment, and focus on developing talent and succession planning within teams.
