Since its inception, it has been setting new benchmarks for digital HR departments with its vision of fully automating HR processes.With a customer base of over 600 companies, including industry leaders from medium-sized businesses to large enterprises, the business has successfully supported clients in elevating their HR management to a digital level.OverviewThe Sales Director is responsible for aligning all revenue-generating departments - such as sales, marketing, and partnerships - to ensure predictable and scalable revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention and expansion. The role drives cross-functional collaboration to deliver top-line growth and enhance customer lifetime value, combining strategic leadership with deep knowledge of SaaS, go-to-market and growth strategies and metrics to maintain a customer-centric approach.Key ResponsibilitiesRun the sales engine day to day: set and lead a clear weekly cadence for pipeline, forecast and deal reviews to deliver Q1–Q2 results and build pipeline for H2.Work hands-on with the sales teams in Germany (new business and existing customers), coaching team leads and reps, supporting deals and removing blockers so teams spend more time with customers.Actively manage renewals and churn risk to protect revenue, with Net Revenue Retention (NRR) as a shared KPI across the management team.Work closely with RevOps as a key partner, helping establish this new function by improving CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and forecast reliability.Coordinate closely with Marketing to focus campaigns and leads on what supports near-term pipeline and revenue.Join key customer and partner meetings, especially for late-stage deals, renewals at risk and important partner-led opportunities.Act as the single point of contact for Sales internally, working with Customer Success, Services, Product, Finance and HR to unblock issues and keep execution moving.Qualifications10+ years of experience in revenue-generating roles, with a focus on software (SaaS companies or HR-digitisation and transformation solutions).Proven track record in driving revenue growth and aligning cross-functional revenue teams.Strong leadership experience, with a background in sales, marketing, or customer success and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams that deliver exceptional results.Data-Driven Decision Maker: experienced in customer lifecycle process governance and metrics (e.g., CAC, CLTV, and NRR) for scalable growth.Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.SenioritiesDirectorEmployment typeContractJob functionSales and ManagementIndustriesSoftware DevelopmentReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Alex Partners by 2xGet notified about new Sales Director jobs in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. #J-18808-Ljbffr
