Description We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our fast-growing software team in a full-time capacity for 6 months. In this role, you will support the development, and refinement of our user interface, that interacts with various quantum sensing hardware components — such as sensors, laser controllers, and translation stages. Troubleshoot, refine, and optimize existing software functionality to improve user experience and reliability. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing infrastructure and documentation. What is expected of you Ability to work full-time on-site in our Munich lab for 6 months. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computer, Software, or related field). Proficiency in Python and experience with Qt for GUI development. Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative code management. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools and shell scripting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
