Upway is hiring an Operations Manager among its Launch Operations team in Düsseldorf. The Operations team’s role is to create the largest and highest-quality e-bike offering for Upway shoppers, by sourcing the best e-bikes, refurbishing them and delivering them to their new owner in a seamless customer experience. The Operations Manager will be responsible for owning entire parts of operational flow, managing teams in our warehouse, building processes to optimize operations, analyzing data to understand and bridge gaps, and working closely with the rest of the company to provide best in class experiences to customers. Your Mission Lead a team of warehouse associates and bike mechanics Design, build and own entire parts of the operational flow Go deep into the data to find optimization opportunities Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and partners Design and implement processes to optimize customer experience and financial efficiency Set up tools and dashboards to get an accurate view on operations Work closely with the rest of the company to support an extremely fast paced growth and expansion What We’re Looking For Strong academic background in engineering, finance, logistics, business, MINT or similar 3-5 years of experience in Operations, Finance, or equivalent Fluency in German, proficiency in English Possess strong communication and leadership skills, able to lead a small team in a warehouse environment Superior problem solving skills; able to manage detail, establish root cause, and to analyse data Comfort with working in a fast-paced and changing environment Attention to details and obsession for operational excellence Readiness to be fully accountable for a complex operational scope Thrive on change and a dynamic environment.
