About the client and role
Our client, a leading global automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Global Head of Talent Acquisition to lead their global TAO function.
This leadership role combines operational and strategic responsibilities, managing a global team of 43 employees across four recruitment hubs in Europe, the Americas, China, and Asia.
The successful candidate will execute and refine the global implementation roadmap while partnering closely with leadership teams across locations, countries, and business areas. The aim is to enhance candidate experience, improve talent attraction and quality, and optimize costs across the function.
Responsibilities
* Lead a global team of 43, with 8 direct reports, overseeing recruitment hubs in Europe, the Americas, China, and Asia.
* Drive the execution and ongoing refinement of the global TAO implementation roadmap.
* Ensure governance, standards, and best practices for Talent Acquisition and Onboarding are established and maintained globally.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and business area leadership to incorporate feedback and deliver high-impact TAO solutions.
* Deliver structural improvements in areas such as process excellence, candidate experience, technology automation, BPO, and recruitment marketing.
* Ensure alignment with strategic workforce goals while enhancing operational delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in strategic HR or Talent Acquisition leadership roles with global or regional scope.
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills - able to “convince with a smile” and balance stakeholder needs with strategic direction.
* Confident in operating at senior leadership level and in having challenging conversations when needed.
* Strong team leadership and project management capabilities in complex, matrixed environments.
* Experience in designing and leading implementation roadmaps across global TA functions.
* Collaborative, resilient, and proactive mindset.
