Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Auto Hobby Shop, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position may offer logistical support. Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance for the Auto Hobby Centers. Responsibilities Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance for the Auto Hobby Centers. Establishes weekly schedule for customer vehicles needing maintenance and repairs. Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Tests automotive equipment for faultiness such as batteries, alternators and use various electronic testers. Oversees expendable and nonexpendable supplies and resale items through stock control, requisitioning, delivery and inventory control. Maintains inventory by researching, ordering, receiving, adjusting and reselling stock and or special-order items. Notifies supervisor or program lead if damage or loss has occurred. Required to use a government purchasing card to perform payments at various vendors. Required to maintain reports for accounting and record keeping. Operates cash register. Performs other duties as assigned as they pertain to the duties of this position. Operates a government vehicle to transport supplies, equipment, and materials related to Auto Hobby Center operations. May lift heavier items with weight handling equipment or with assistance from another worker.
