Your team & responsibilities You will join the Legal team and report directly to the Head of Legal based in France.You will act as the main legal point of contact for the German business teams and provide pragmatic legal advice on day-to-day operational matters.This position has opened following the acquisition of Readly and the launch of our operations in the DACH region. Your missions Legal support for the German marketAdvise internal teams on legal issues related to Cafeyn's activities in GermanySupport business, product and partnership teams in their legal needsEnsure that new initiatives are properly framed from a legal perspectiveContribute to the preparation of internal reporting on legal risksCommercial contracts and partnershipsDraft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with publishers and distribution partnersEnsure contractual consistency with the Group's legal frameworkAdapt and maintain contract templates for the German marketIntegration of Readly operationsUnderstand the legal and contractual frameworks inherited from ReadlySupport the alignment of German legal processes with the Group's legal frameworkParticipate in the structuring of contractual processes and tools You are at the right place if you have 3+ years of experience in a similar position, ideally in digital media, SaaS, subscription platforms, content or technology businessesStrong knowledge in contracts, intellectual property, commercial law...Capacity to work in an international environmentExcellent communication, writing and presentation skillsFluent in German & English; additional European languages are a strong assetYou don't have to match all the requirements, if you feel this offer could be a great opportunity for you, reach out anyways!
