The Position
Your Department
Your new position will be located in the ‘Antibody Development’ subchapter, which develop antibodies for various platforms of Roche Diagnostics.
After profound introduction to the techniques and tools for antibody generation, as a part of automation working group, you will support the activities related to implementation of automation solutions in antibody development pipeline.
Your Tasks
* Development of diagnostic antibodies utilizing the B cell PCR technology
* Flow-cytometry based isolation and cultivation of B cells
* Screening of antibody properties utilizing innovative High-Throughput ELISA
* Utilization and testing automation units for antibody development
* Support in planning, data analysis and presentation of your experiments
Who you are
* You are enrolled as a Master’s degree student in Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology or a comparable study program
* You have knowledge and hand-on experience about basic immunology and cell biology techniques (cell culture, FACS, ELISA)
* You are comfortable in utilizing IT tools (Microsoft Office Package)
* You have an analytical mindset and a basic understanding of programing principles
* You are curious and open for new ideas. You are not afraid of thinking outside the box
* You are engaged, have a strong self-reliance and organizational skills, and enjoy working together in a team
* You are proficient in English
