Job Description
As a Senior Digital Design Engineer (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and validation of digital modules for our sensing solutions. You will work closely with our System Engineer, Chip Architect, as well as with Analog, Digital, Verification, and Validation Engineers. Your expertise in RTL design and simulation will be pivotal in driving our projects to success.
The Job
1. Design, develop, and validate digital modules for automotive and industrial applications
2. Extract digital module objectives from high-level specifications
3. Take ownership of digital block implementation, ensuring robust and reliable design
4. Perform RTL coding and debugging using Verilog and/or System Verilog
5. Conduct RTL and gate level simulations to ensure design accuracy and performance
6. Support product development deliverables, including DfT/DfM, design documentation
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analog design, verification, and DFT, to ensure cohesive project development
8. Evaluate third-party IPs, customize, and integrate them into the design
Qualifications
Your Profile
9. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field
10. 4+ years of experience in digital design and analog/mixed-signal IC development
11. Excellent knowledge in Verilog and System Verilog RTL coding
12. Knowledge in digital design flow, including architecture, RTL design, DfT/DfM, verification and synthesis
13. Experience with digital design backend flow including synthesis, timing analysis, and generation of scan and functional test patterns
14. Knowledge of UVM verification methodology and assertions/fault injection is a plus
15. Experience with embedded microcontrollers and with FPGA prototyping is appreciated
16. Familiarity with automotive and functional safety development processes and standards
based on IATF16949 & ISO26262
17. Very good problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently and self-motivated
18. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
19. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with version control and requirements tracking tools
20. Good command of English language; German is advantageous
