CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Sr. System Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners located OCONUS in Germany (Dulmen, Grafenwoehr, Mannheim, Wiesbaden), Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, and Poland (Konotop, Pila, Swietoszow, Zagan). This position is required to travel OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
1. Supports installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including cloud-based systems
2. Provides support and tech expertise in systems technology, including virtual hardware and cloud capabilities
3. Manages network and systems configurations to improve performance and maintain compliance with cybersecurity ATO requirements
4. Maintains network Active Directories (ADs), file servers, and print servers
5. Assesses and supports testing of proposed configuration changes and documents configuration changes
6. Ensures configurations enable automated updating (e.g., System Center Configuration Manager)
7. Administers and maintains virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware)
8. Ensures system backups, recovery, and storage provisioning are adequate to support Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans
9. Supports COOP and DR reviews and exercises, including developing plans or scenarios, and implements changes identified and approved as a result of exercises
10. Performs routine audits of operating systems, servers, and applications
11. Supports forensic audits and provides reports or resolutions for incidents
12. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues, including system outages
13. Monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements
14. Interfaces with vendors/Government/technical staff on technical solutions, system implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
15. Participates and contributes to discussions and evaluations of new technologies
16. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
17. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
18. Mentors less-experienced personnel and may supervise others
Qualifications:
19. Currently hold an adjudicated Secret with ability obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
20. Years of Experience: 8 - 12
21. Education: BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered
22. Certification: Required 8140.03 Cert - 451 - Intermediate and additional Cert - Not Applicable
23. DoD 8140.03 Compliant: Approved Certifications
24. Exhibits mastery of operating system management and network administration, with particular emphasis on cloud-based systems and virtual environments.
25. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of system configurations, cybersecurity compliance, and performance optimization techniques across complex IT infrastructures.
26. Exhibits strategic expertise in managing active directories, file servers, and virtualization platforms such as VMware, ensuring robust system backups and storage provisioning for continuity of operations and disaster recovery.
27. Excels in troubleshooting and resolving advanced system hardware, software, and networking issues, including forensic audits and incident resolution.
28. Commands proficiency in evaluating user satisfaction levels and implementing system improvements to enhance performance.
29. Displays leadership qualities through mentoring junior staff, interfacing with vendors and technical teams, and functioning as a technical expert across multiple high-impact projects. Demonstrates ability to contribute to technology evaluations and drive adoption of innovative solutions in enterprise environments.
30. Currently hold an adjudicated Secret with ability obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance

34. Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
35. Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
