Vacancy: Financial Controller (f/m/x) - We are looking for an Financial Controller (f/m/x) to start immediately for our client, a trading company based in the Sprockhövel area.

Your Responsibilities as Financial Controller (f/m/x)
3. Responsible for monthly close processes for international subsidiaries and financial reporting to the CFO and key stakeholders
4. Oversight and management of local accountants across multiple international offices, ensuring local GAAP and statutory compliance
5. Monitoring and enforcement of shared service agreements and intercompany recharges between related parties
6. Management and coordination of external audits across international locations
7. Responsibility for cash management with a focus on controlled disbursement processes
8. Oversight of internal financial and operational controls, processes, and practices
9. Preparation of business analysis reports, including cost center and cost unit accounting as well as contribution margin calculations
10. Execution of project-based assignments (e.g., standardization and automation) and production controlling in close collaboration with production departments
Your Qualification and Skills
11. Thorough knowledge of audit procedures, including planning techniques, testing, and sampling methods, ability to analyze and gather facts on business processes
12. Strong accounting and analytical skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
13. Several years' work experience in a similar management role, international experience is desired
14. A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
15. Professional certifications (e.g.. CPA, Chartered Accountant)
16. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey accounting and financial information to department heads and stakeholders
17. Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of accuracy and timeliness
18. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
