Take the lead in designing and coordinating connectivity and network architectures that balance technical requirements, regulatory constraints, cyber security, and stakeholder interests.

What you will do:
* Design, define, and maintain network and connectivity architectures for Axpo's BESS assets throughout their lifecycle.
* Review, challenge, and approve network and connectivity designs proposed by suppliers.
* Manage internal and external stakeholder interests around BESS connectivity and network architecture during plant design and operations.
* Translate business, operational, and internal policy needs into clear technical and contractual requirements for suppliers.
* Coordinate and monitor progress on connectivity, network architecture, and data exchange across projects.
* Report progress and flag risks to the Senior BESS Project Manager.

What you bring & who you are:
* Higher education in engineering, natural sciences, IT, or a comparable discipline.
* Proven ability to design, administer, and maintain network architectures.
* Familiarity with OT/IoT protocols such as Modbus TCP, OPC UA, or MQTT.
* Experience with cyber security standards and regulations like ISO27001 or NIS2.
* Strong understanding of network technology across physical and application layers.
* Effective organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Fluent English is required; German is an advantage.
