Are you the kind of engineer who sees the bigger picture — connecting code, circuits, and real-world performance into one seamless system?
We’re searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to join a specialist process engineering team within a world-leading laser and automation environment. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic system integration — perfect for engineers who enjoy solving complex challenges across disciplines.
What You’ll Be Doing
Calibrate, develop, and optimise control functions within advanced process systems.
Adapt and fine-tune existing software to enhance system capability and performance.
Act as the technical interface between software, hardware, and commissioning teams.
Provide on-site support for system validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with R&D and process teams to integrate new features and refine architectures.
Support documentation, training, and technical process handovers to service and operations.
Contribute to the evolution of configurable product platforms for global deployment.
What You Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of software-controlled machinery, automation systems, and calibration methods.
Experience in debugging, integration, and optimisation of complex electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with machine vision, motion control, or photonics-based equipment.
Comfort working across the full lifecycle — from customer specification to commissioning.
Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
Self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Why This Role?
Take a central role in shaping next-generation precision technology used across global industries.
Work across disciplines — combining mechanical, software, and process knowledge to deliver complete systems.
Join a high-performing engineering team where collaboration and innovation drive success.
See your work implemented directly in field-deployed systems with measurable impact.
If you’re motivated by complex systems, hands-on engineering, and the satisfaction of seeing your work perform in the real world — this could be the role for you.
