A global leader in industrial manufacturing is looking for an experienced Procurement Commodity Manager to drive category strategy, supplier excellence, and cost optimization across EMEA.
This is a strategic role within a world-class organisation operating across 50+ countries with a reputation for innovation and operational excellence. You'll have full autonomy to develop supplier partnerships, drive cost reduction roadmaps, and implement supply base consolidation strategies.

Your key responsibilities:
1. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for engineered materials and components across EMEA
2. Partner with global procurement category managers and regional teams to develop and implement category strategies that optimize TCO, including BVC sourcing
3. Build and manage long-term supplier relationships, driving supplier development, supply base consolidation, and cost reduction roadmaps
4. Track market trends, cost drivers, and supply chain risks
5. Be the Leader of supplier innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the regional supply base
6. Ensure alignment across the value chain between suppliers and end customers on quality and delivery requirements
What you bring:
7. Bachelor's degree required: additional master's degree preferred
8. 5+ years in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or category management within the construction/manufacturing industry
9. Deep understanding of materials supply base, cost drivers, market dynamics, and cost reduction strategies
10. Proven experience with direct material sourcing (engineered components preferred) on a global scale and multi-tier supplier relationship management
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP, Oracle, or Infor experience is a plus
13. Fluent in English and German
